Nepal has travel opportunities for every budget. Low-end tours begin at ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 including cheap hotels, transportation, and touring. Mid-range packages range between ₹50,000 – ₹1,50,000 with 3–4 star hotels, tours, and domestic flights. Luxury tours begin at ₹1,50,000+, including 5-star hotels, personalized travel, pre-designed tours, and fine dining.

December to February (winter) and June to August (monsoon) are the cheapest months to travel. Flights, hotels, and tour packages are more affordable, but some treks can be challenging due to heavy rain or snow.

The busiest and most expensive months are March–May and September–November. These months offer the best weather for trekking, sightseeing, and outdoor adventures.

Indian citizens get a visa on arrival in Nepal valid for 15, 30, or 90 days. Fees range between USD 25–100 depending on stay duration.          Requirements: a valid passport, passport-size photos, and visa fee (USD or INR accepted).

Nepal is generally budget-friendly for Indian tourists. Hotels, meals, and transport are cheaper compared to India, especially street food, local buses, and small hotels. Adventure activities like trekking or rafting may cost more, but still reasonable.

Popular Nepali souvenirs include handicrafts, pashminas, prayer flags, ornaments, carved wood items, and Himalayan teas. Best shopping areas: Thamel (Kathmandu), Lakeside (Pokhara), and Patan Durbar Square.          Bargaining is common and expected in local markets.
